A rejuvenating retreat in South India focused on cleansing the body and mind by way of nourishing farm to table organic food, yoga, subtle body practices, ayurveda, sound, and nature.
Each day we'll focus on a chakra by way of breath, sound, and relaxation practices focusing on clearing subtle blockages and developing intimacy with our essential nature. Enjoy a daily gentle yoga class and music as well as talks on how to practice positive thinking in our daily lives.
Accommodations are on an unbelievably beautiful and sprawling organic farm run by a most loving and devoted Kerala native. The farm grows banana, mango, rice, veggies, ginger, turmeric, and almost everything we'll eat will be sourced directly from the farm. Milk is fresh from Auntie's cows who wander around the farm with the peacocks and dogs, Vegan options are available. There's a lotus pond down the trail to the rice fields, and a swing hanging off a banyan tree. It's truly idyllic. If we're lucky and there's enough interest, Auntie may allow us to join for her daily pujas; she's an enthusiastic Hanuman devotee. She also has a fair amount of Ayurvedic knowledge and is a miraculous chef of traditional South Indian cuisine. Most days a cooking classes will be offered.
Accommodations are in an authentic Kerala style home, and we'll sleep Indian style, so expect to share space with at least one other person. If you register together with a friend you can request who you'd like to share space with for sleeping. For an extra fee you can request a private room.
Shared room $1500. Private room $2100
Includes Classes, Music, Lectures, Food, Clean Water and Accommodation for seven nights from Dec 28 - Jan 4
