A nourishing respite into nature, rest, yoga, music, vegan food, and easy company.
Allison will keep you engaged and nurtured with gentle yoga, meditation, and mantra in the mornings and evenings, but the day time will be yours to play and explore the beaches of Oaxaca.
There's a beach right down the stairs from where we're staying, and a 3 minute walk gets us to public transport, the collectiva, which will take you to Zipolite and Mazunte beaches. Mazunte is only a 10 minute walk.
There will be many group activities offered and you are welcome to participate as much or little as you like. Spending your days in a hammock on the patio or just retreating off on your own somewhere secret is totally ok.
Once you get settled into our little hideaway, you'll schedule your Vedic Astrology and Aguahara Therapy sessions with Allison Dennis and JoJo Walsh. Check out JoJo's work here. Each Aguahara session is tailored to your specific needs, even if you happen to be somewhat fearful of swimming or of water.
If you're curious about what Vedic Astrology is, or if you want to get your first session before the retreat, go here.
What is an Envision Quest?
We will collectively quest to envision our path forward, co-creating our future with reality.
An environment of unconditional positive regard will be nurtured and maintained, as will a creative space for you to dream and manifest.
Some of you need to commit to relaxation for the week, while others may need fresh inspiration for giving wings to an idea. Some may be in the midst of a transition and not quite sure where they're headed, while others are moving through grief. And some of you will come just for the sense of belonging and community.
Whatever your reason for attending may be, the totality of you is invited.
In the spirit of creating community and enduring satsang (spiritual friendship) there will be opportunity to give voice to your values, desires, dreams, and challenges; both individually and in a group setting with Allison.
The hope is that you leave this retreat revitalized and inspired about what's most important to you. We'll sweetly seek answers inside relaxation, and enjoy the support and company of other women on the path.
Allison is a longtime Vedic Counselor with two decades of experience and will be generally available over the week to listen and better understand your life and story so that we can co-create or refine your daily routines, talk about negative thought patterning, and discuss practices to alleviate stress and suffering.
This is a women only retreat.

Where is San Augustinillo?
San Augustinillo is a quiet beach village on the Oaxaca Coast conveniently situated between a couple of destination beaches, Mazunte and Zipolite.
Mazunte is recognized as a Pueblo Magico (a Magic City) that has managed to maintain its history, culture, architecture, and traditions.
Zipolite, on the other side of San Augustinillo, is Mexico's only clothing optional beach.
All three beaches offer access to local artisans, exquisite sunsets, and relaxed vibes.

Travel:
A passport is needed. If departure is within six months of your passport expiring you could run into problems on arrival.
No vaccination or mask requirements unless mandated by the Mexican government or individual businesses we may interact with.
Ideally you'll fly into Huatulco, Oaxaca. Then it's just an hour taxi ride which will cost about $30-50 depending on your ability to speak the language and negotiate with drivers. I will send a detailed email regarding travel info and packing suggestions.
Travel costs for arrival and departure to and from our accommodations, including cab fare, covid departure tests, or any other covid mandated or related issue will be at your own expense.
It's a good idea to exchange some cash to pesos in your home country before departure.
On arrival:
Expect to be walking a fair amount on dirt roads and taking the common local transport (the back of a truck) which requires an average level of flexibility and strength. We will do our best to accommodate those with physical challenges, but the location does have stairs and the area is hilly. Please mention any issues before registration. Bring good walking shoes in addition to your beach attire.
Seeking:
1-2 Spanish speaking, upbeat, easy going folks to help with food prep, shopping, and perhaps light general administrative assistance in preparation for the trip and on arrival in Mexico.
There is already a head chef.
Karma Yogi's receive full attendance for the retreat including food, shared room, and private sessions at no charge in exchange for your service.
To apply for a Karma Yoga position:
Please officially apply by June 15, 2022 by sending an email at the link below answering the following questions in less than 300 words.
