Runs 10/17-11/13 & Includes:
The Sun is the basis of time. It gives us seasons, the concept of day & night, and rules over measurements in seconds and years. Solar cycles are predictable, apparent, and relative to self illuminating light. It is the solar system afterall. Lunar cycles are less obvious, subtle, and exist beneath the surface of things. Where the Sun is relative to the ātma (soul), Moon is relative to manas (emotional and instinctual mind).
This class will help you better understand the subtle lunar rhythms that play out in the fabric of our solar reality. We will explore with some depth the celestial stories and symbolic significance of the 27 nakṣātras or “lunar mansions”.
Students will gain a deeper insight into how the nakṣātras influence our lives, relationships, and spiritual journey and will be inspired to continue placing awareness on the moon’s cycles for emotional context.
